Germantown Police Warn of Fake Marine |

Germantown police are warning residents about a man presenting himself as a marine in need of help. Investigators say the man approached another man inside the Germantown Chik Fil A and showed him a business card identifying him as a U.S. Marine. 

He said he locked his keys in his car and needed to get money to get his car unlocked.  The victim drove him to an ATM and handed him more than 500 dollars.

The victim became suspicous and started asking questions. The suspect then jumped out of the car and ran off.  If you know anything, call Germantown Crimestoppers  at 901-757-2274.
