Civil War reenactors wanted | Arts & Culture

The Bluff City Grays are looking for Civil War Reenactors to join their unit in affiliation with the Robert E. Lee Camp 1640, Sons of Confederate Veterans.

The Bluff City Grays are the Memphis and the Mid-South's only dedicated Confederate history association.

Their purpose is to, "create an authentic impression of the common Confederate foot soldier; in the garb, with the gear and persona of the troops of Co. B, 154th Senior Regiment, 1st Tennessee, CSA, circa 1861.  Acting in that soldier’s good name, we seek to portray his experiences, to emulate his virtues, to perpetuate the principles that he loved, and to educate today’s public about the real history of the War for Southern Independence."
