Watch BTW graduation, help fund scholarships | Community Spirit

Friends for a Better Tomorrow is hosting a celebration of President Obama's historic visit to Memphis and the accomplishments of Booker T. Washington High School's students - the National Race to the Top Commencement Challenge winners.

A simulcast of the graduation will be held in the Venetian Room of the historic Peabody Hotel from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

A VIP cocktail party with featured speakers will follow the commencement exercise.

This is a non-partisan event to benefit the scholarship fund for the graduating seniors of BTW. 

The suggested donation is $100. Light snacks will be served and there will also be a cash bar.
