Germantown police arrest burglary suspects | Crime

(WMC-TV) - Germantown police say they've caught a pair of suspected burglars.

Investigators say Chase Lipsey, 22, and Cheyenne Payton, 18, are responsible for 2 break-ins on Brierbrook Road and Sonning Drive on August 1 and a third burglary on Niketon in July.

Officers say in all the crimes, the thieves entered through the homes' back doors.

Police found Lipsey and Payton after spotting their vehicle at a Memphis hotel. Witnesses saw a similar car near the scene of the burglaries.

Both suspects have been charged with aggravated burglary and theft.
