Crimes:

A cell phone was stolen from the field house in the 7600 block of Poplar Pike at 11:20 a.m.

Crashes:

No crashes were reported.

Investigators: Children found during meth lab raid

Two children were removed from an alleged meth lab inside the Farmington Gates Apartments late Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say a 6-year-old was inside during the raid and a 14-year-old showed up a short time later. The Department of Children’s Services is investigating to see if the kids were in any danger.

Officers say two men were arrested inside the apartment and are now behind bars. Jason Wolverton is being held on $250,000 bond. Justin Rayburn was also arrested. His bond was set at $100,000.

Both men are facing drug charges.

"Germantown Police Det. Steve Lovelace tracked the suspect within just a few hours using information reported by bank employees," said Inspector Lee Covey.

Suspected Germantown bank robber cased area for months

GERMANTOWN, TN (WMC-TV) - The suspect in the robbery of a Germantown bank may have spent months casing the area before carrying out his crime.

FBI investigators said Wednesday that Shaun David Cheveallier, 28, is under arrest as a suspect in the robbery of the Trust One Bank in Germantown Tuesday afternoon.

Frayser woman charged with Shelby Farms car burglaries

Shelby County investigators believe they have solved a string recent of car break-ins at Shelby Farms.

Lasonya Curry, of Frayser, is charged with five counts of motor vehicle burglary and four counts of theft in the crime spree.

Investigators say they set up surveillance and caught Curry in the act.
