iPads to replace wine lists at Mesquite Chop House | Restaurants

(WMC-TV) - Choosing a wine will be a high-tech experience when Mesquite Chop House opens in Germantown later this summer.

For many diners, the wine-picking experience at a restaurant consists of two steps. First, trying to remember that wine they had one time at a friend's house that was really good. Second, realizing that they have no idea what that wine was called and just picking one off the menu that isn't impossible to pronounce.

The restaurant will use an iPad app that can help wine newbies look like honest to goodness oenophiles.

The Mesquite Chop House locations in Germantown and Southaven are currently suing the app.
